A German MTA-Interview in English
In June 2019 I was called by the German Lajnah to be interviewed for an MTA-program. I had to go by air and flew from Gothenburg in Sweden to Frankfurt am mail in Germany. Lajnah members picked me up at the airport and brought me to a guesthouse of the Ahmadiya Jama’at. I was granted a very comfortable room and was taken care of n a fantastic way.
The interview started the 16th of June in 2019. It was conducted in English by Lajnah members and took such a long time that I had to stay overnight before returning to Sweden again. It was shown in four parts, and I present the links for anyone to view the interview. Regarding the first of the links, my interview starts after 11,40 minutes, but the other three links start at once.
I will take this opportunity to give special thanks to the Lajnah members who picked me up and drove me to and fro the airport, among others Lubna Kahloon, Sadr Lajnah Frankfurt, Wajiha Malik for taking me for a round trip to the old Mission house, which I had not seen for decades, and to visit the graveyard where I could pray at some of the Ahmadi graves, Naseem Ahmad in charge of the MTA, Fizza Khalique who was the producer of the intervjew and in addition arranged for me to see her mother, who I remember since the start of the German Lajnah in 1973, and last but not least Attia Nuur Hübsch, the sadr Lajnah at that time. It was a very special pleasure for me to meet her, since she is the daughter of late Hidayyat Begum, originally from Mauritius and late Hadayatullah Hübsch, a well-known German writer and early convert. In old times there were so very few Ahmadi converts in Europe that I knew almost all of them, and since he converted short after me, I remember his name since my early days in Ahmadiyyat.
