This is a review of some women who served God in a historical perspective,
Some few examples:
Hadjerah (Hagar) who helped Abraham to comply with God’s commandment.
The mother of Musa (Moses).
Asia, the wife of Pharao.
Mariyam (Maria) the other of Isa (Jesus).
Khadidja, the first wife of the Holy Prophet, may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him.
Aisha, the wife of the Holy Prophet, may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him.
Asma, one of Aisha’s sisters.
Khaulah, who continue to fight when her brother was killed in a war.
Fatima, the Holy Prophet’s daughter, may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him.
Rabiya Basria
Zubaida, wife of the king of Baghdad.
Nusrat Djahan (hadrat Amman Jan), the Promised Messiah’s wife. may peace and
blessings of Allah be upon them both.
Mahmuda Begum, wife of the second Khalifa and mother of the third Khalifa, may peace and blessings of Allah be upon them both.
Mariyam (Umme Tahir), wife of the second Khalifa and mother of the fourth Khalifa. may peace and blessings of Allah be upon them both.
Mariyam Siddiqa (Choti Appa, Umme Matin), wife of the second Khalifa, may peace and blessings of Allah be upon them both.
Bushra (Meher Appa), wife of the second Khalifa, may peace and blessings of Allah
be upon them both.
Amatul-Hai, daughter of the first Khalipha and wife of the second Khalifa. May peace and blessings of Allah be upon them all.
Sarah Begum, wife of the second Khalifa, may peace and blessings of Allah be upon them both.
Saleha Begum (Umme Daud), sister-in-law of hadhrat Amman Jan.
